Two more 054 ALFA frigates PNS Shahjahan and PNS Tipu Sultan joined the fleet with Chinese cooperation

Two more 054 ALFA frigates PNS Shahjahan and PNS Tipu Sultan joined the fleet with Chinese cooperation.
Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif was the chief guest of the event. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi welcomed the Defense Minister on his arrival at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard.
The chief guest handed over the command scrolls of PNS Shahjahan and PNS Tipusultan to Commander Pakistan Fleet. The Defense Minister appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Navy regarding maritime peace and stability in the region.

The Chief Guest appreciated the professionalism of Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard China for the timely completion of the vessels.
With the involvement of these two ships, the defense of the country’s maritime borders and interests will be strengthened. PNS Shahjahan and PNS Tipu Sultan are multi-purpose ships equipped with advanced weapons and sensors.
