Round Table talk between Pakistan and the IMF will begin today
According to the sources, the ninth economic review will be discussed in the talks, the situation after the flood and the economic goals will be reviewed, a briefing will be given on the tax revenue and exchange rate, if the talks are successful, Pakistan will get one billion ten crores. There is a possibility of getting dollars.
The IMF review mission will stay in Pakistan for 10 days, in the first phase there will be technical level talks for 3 days, the policy level talks with the IMF will continue till January 9.
Pakistan’s economic performance from July to December 2022 will be informed, a briefing will also be given on the losses and expenses caused by floods.
