The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad to offer condolences on the death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. On arrival at the embassy, in a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences, deep sorrow and expressed regret.
The Prime Minister said that the former Chinese President will always be remembered as a great leader. He said that the former president has a key role in strengthening China-Pakistan relations. Jiang Zemin’s role in China’s development is important. On this occasion, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif also recorded his comments in the condolence book.
