The newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Afghanistan presented a copy of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi. Besides congratulating the new Chinese ambassador, the Minister of Foreign Affairs wished him success in his new mission.
Muttaqi assured the new Chinese ambassador of all kinds of cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The foreign minister considered the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and China to be special and added that the appointment of Mr. Zhao Sheng as the new ambassador to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan by the People’s Republic of China. It is a meaningful move and has a significant message.
Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi expressed his hope that with the introduction of the new Chinese ambassador, bilateral relations between Afghanistan and China will reach their highest level and the remaining steps will be taken. Muttaqi Sahib said that now the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and China. There are many opportunities for expansion that both sides can take advantage of.
The new Chinese ambassador also said that he is proud to start working as an ambassador in Afghanistan and the Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Wang Yi conveyed his best wishes to the country’s foreign minister. Mr. Zhao Sheng also welcomed the positive position of Afghanistan in relation to the People’s Republic of China on many occasions and especially thanked Afghanistan for its support for the one-China policy.
The new Chinese ambassador said that his country respects the national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Afghanistan. And will never interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
Also, the Chinese ambassador said that in the last two years, Afghanistan has made significant economic progress, security has improved and there has been a good fight against crimes. The Chinese ambassador said that Afghanistan has established good relations with neighboring countries in the last two years.
The Chinese ambassador reiterated his promise that as the Chinese ambassador, he will make more efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and China.
