The Election Commission has suggest the dates from April 30 to May 7 for Punjab Elections

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in which a decision was taken in this regard. In this regard, the Election Commission says that the Election Commission of Pakistan has suggested the dates from April 30 to May 7 for the Punjab elections.

The Election Commission also says that a letter has been sent to the President in light of the Supreme Court’s decision. It has been said in the letter that after the selection of the date by the President, the Election Commission is ready to perform its constitutional and legal duties.

The Election Commission has also sent a letter to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the light of the orders of the Supreme Court, the reply of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is awaited.
