The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad was visited by Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif
In light of the terrorist assault in Bisham that claimed the lives of five Chinese nationals, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences to Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan. “The sympathies of the entire nation, including myself, are with the families of the Chinese citizens,” stated the prime minister. The perpetrators and enablers will face consequences if the Pakistani government launches a thorough and prompt inquiry into the tragedy. The Prime Minister conveyed his condolences to the Chinese President and Prime Minister over the event during a conversation with the Chinese ambassador.
Pakistan will not permit such heinous endeavours to undermine the friendship with China to be successful. CPEC’s adversaries have once again banded together to undermine it with such a vile deed, but their nefarious goals will never come to pass.
The prime minister will keep up the battle against terrorism until this evil is eradicated. The Chinese Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his visit to the embassy and his personal participation in the incident’s inquiry. The Ambassador also commended the Prime Minister’s dedication to the relationship between China and Pakistan. The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Information and Broadcasting, and Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
