Somali Prime Minister met with Pakistani President Arif Alvi

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, met with the President of Pakistan, Mr. Arif Alvi, who is performing the Hajj this year.

The Prime Minister and the President discussed strengthening the traditional relations between the two brotherly countries of Somalia and Pakistan and how to further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agricultural production, fishing, energy and livestock.

Mr. Hamsa and Mr. Arif also discussed the ways in which the two sides would help each other in the fight against terrorism, and they agreed to prepare delegations from both sides, led by the ministers of foreign affairs, in order to proceed with the implementation of the important provisions discussed by the Prime Minister and the President.
