Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate historic projects in Sindh today
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will visit Tharparkar Sindh today. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate 1320 MW Shanghai Electric Thar and 330 MW Thal Nova Thar projects in Tharparkar today.
11.24 billion low-cost electricity units will be generated annually from these Thar coal-fired projects. With the inauguration of these projects built with a total direct investment of 3.53 billion dollars, the current production of electricity from Thar coal will increase to 3300 MW.
In the last four years, these projects were put on hold. On the instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the completion of these projects was made a top priority.Prime Minister will also address on this occasion.
