An impressive tourism promotion event was organized by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB) in collaboration with Pakistan Embassy and Consulate in Turkiye today. Showcasing the unique blend of Pakistan’s history, nature and culture, the event highlighted Pakistan as an unparalleled tourist destination and provided an opportunity to foster and strengthen collaboration in tourism sector between the two brotherly countries.

Chairman Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and heads of provincial tourism departments of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir participated online in the event, wherein they briefed the audience regarding immense potential in bilateral tourism and investment opportunities offered by the Pakistan tourism industry. The event was also attended by Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkiye Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Vice President TURSAB Mr. Hasan Eker, travel enthusiasts and representatives from prominent tourism agencies of Pakistan and Turkiye.

While acknowledging the phenomenal success of Turkish tourism industry, Ambassador Dr Yousaf Junaid, emphasized on the importance of experience sharing and enhanced collaboration between Pakistan and Turkiye in the realm of tourism. The ambassador underscored that stronger economic partnership would benefit millions of people in both countries and Pakistan’s tourism industry offers exceptional investment opportunities. In his address, ambassador also highlighted rich heritage, captivating landscape and diverse cultural experiences offered by Pakistan and encouraged the participants to visit Pakistan, assuring them of a memorable experience and warm hospitality.

The event also featured visual displays showcasing Pakistan’s landmarks, historical sites, breath taking mountains, pristine beaches, mesmerizing lakes and thriving art. Delectable traditional Pakistani cuisine was served to the guests during the event.
