Pakistan Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal spoke at the “Session Briefing of Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023 Ensuring Both Development and Security” along with Ban Ki-Moon, Danilo Turk, Vince Henderson, Jim Yong Kim, Andy Tsang and Zhao Fengtao. Federal Minister stressed that security is the foundation of progress, and progress is the key to security. We must work together to address the development and security deficits in today’s world and promote a brighter future for all.
We must strive for a fairer and more equitable distribution of development gains, so that people from all corners of the world can benefit. Together, we must accelerate the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, emphasized Federal Minister. He accentuated that dialogue, not confrontation, is the key to resolving security dilemmas and reducing security threats. We must come together as a global community and encourage peaceful discussions to promote security and stability worldwide.
