Dubai, 08 August, 2026 (Ghufran): The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the schedule for the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026, with Pakistan and India placed in the same group for the continental tournament, which will be held in Dubai from August 28 to September 13.Pakistan’s women’s team, popularly known as the Green Shirts, will face traditional rivals India on September 5 in what is expected to be one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament.The eight-team tournament has been divided into two groups of four teams each.Group A comprises defending champions India, Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong, China, while Group B features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The tournament will begin on August 28, with Thailand taking on Hong Kong, China, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host all 15 matches of the tournament, including the final scheduled for September 13.The Women’s T20 Asia Cup will provide the participating teams with an important opportunity to compete at the continental level, with the Pakistan-India clash expected to attract significant attention from cricket fans across the region.
