National Security Committee meeting, Army Chief General Asim Munir reached Prime Minister House

Army Chief General Asim Munir reached Prime Minister House Islamabad where he will attend the National Security Committee meeting. The meeting of the National Security Committee will start after some time in which Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also present at the Prime Minister’s House. Yesterday there was a meeting between Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir in which it was decided to call a meeting of the National Security Committee today.
According to the sources, top civil and military officials will participate in the National Security Committee meeting while DGISI will brief the participants on the national security and security situation. The participants of the meeting will also take into account the current situation of negotiations between DGISI and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and the implementation of past agreements. In the meeting, the reasons for the increase in terrorist incidents in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also be discussed, important decisions are also expected. In the meeting of the National Security Committee, the military officials will also give a briefing on terrorism, the Afghan border situation and the implementation of the National Action Plan.
