Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan arrived at National Police Academy Islamabad

Commandant National Police Academy AD Khawaja welcomed the Home Minister. IG Akbar Nasir Khan was also present on this occasion. Commandant National Police Academy gave a detailed briefing to the Home Minister regarding the Academy. The Home Minister inaugurated the new sports complex at the Academy on this occasion. Facilities of gymnasium, squash court and swimming pool have been provided in the sports complex for the officers under training.

The Home Minister also laid the foundation stone of the technical and physical training area at the academy. Interior Minister said, The National Police Academy is a higher training institution for police officers. He has played an admirable role in providing leadership to the police force in Pakistan.

The students of this academy include those brave officers who made great sacrifices of their lives for the fulfillment of duty and the protection of the nation. The officers graduating from here have played a commendable role for the rule of law and justice even in difficult and unlikely situations.

The government is committed to providing all facilities for training police officers. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has allocated 10 acres of land for technical and physical training of ASPs.

CDA has been directed to complete the development work on the project as soon as possible so that it can be made operational. The Home Minister appreciated the efforts of Commandant National Police Academy and his entire team for completing pending projects.
