Holding the Asia Cup in Pakistan; Important visit of ICC Chairman to review security arrangements
Chairman International Cricket Council visits Safe Cities Authority along with PCB officials. Chairman ICC Greg Barclay and Chief Executive Jeff Allardyce review surveillance cameras. Managing Director Muhammad Kamran Khan gave a briefing regarding the security arrangements for the Asia Cup. ICC chairman Greg Barclay monitored the routes with cameras installed across the city. Chairman ICC expresses satisfaction over security arrangements. The ICC delegation was shown videos of security provided to teams visiting Pakistan.
The security team was briefed about the airport, stadium routes, hotels, parking and police force arrangements. The ICC delegation was informed about the use of modern technology and mutual cooperation of law enforcement agencies.
