Commander Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani visited Naval Headquarters Islamabad.
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of the Pakistan Navy, welcomed the distinguished guest on arrival at the Naval Headquarters.

The armed forces of Pakistan Navy presented a guard of honor to the distinguished guest.
The distinguished guest placed floral wreaths on the martyrs’ memorial and later introduced them to the Principal Staff Officers of the Naval Headquarters.
The Chief of the Naval Staff discussed issues of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral naval cooperation during the meeting with Commander Iranian Navy.

The honorable guest was briefed regarding the responsibilities and capabilities of Pakistan Navy. Commander Iranian Navy appreciated Pakistan Navy’s efforts regarding maritime security in the region.
The visit of Rear Admiral Shahram Irani will further promote the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the naval forces.
