Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zhaidong met with Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti
Discuss issues of mutual interest including bilateral relations in the meeting. The decades-long friendship between Pakistan and China is an example for the whole world, the interior minister said.
Pakistan Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar made a successful visit to China, which will further strengthen cooperation in various fields including security. The next target is to implement the agreements made during the visit.
Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Global Security Initiative is commendable.
Pakistan is ready to play an active role in all kinds of international cooperation to enhance global security. All possible measures have been taken to ensure the security of Chinese citizens.
The Chinese Ambassador thanked the Interior Minister for providing all possible security to the Chinese citizens.
Interior Minister said Terrorism is a challenge but we have defeated it before and inshallah we will eradicate it completely this time too.
The Chinese ambassador also appreciated Pakistan’s role in the fight against terrorism.
In the meeting, it was agreed to further advance cooperation in the field of security.
