The post questioned why victims are often asked about their clothing, the time they left home or why they were outside, rather than examining the factors that lead perpetrators to commit sexual violence. It also highlighted that sexual violence can affect women, children, men, animals and deceased individuals, challenging arguments that place responsibility on a victim’s appearance, behaviour or circumstances.
