Ambassador of Saudia Arabia Calls on the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, paid Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif a visit earlier today. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman for their well-wishes on his reelection.
Considering the unique familial bond between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the prime minister declared that the Saudi ambassador was the first envoy to visit him since taking office.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the goal of his government is to turn the long-standing bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan into a strategic and economic alliance that benefits both countries, with an emphasis on luring Saudi capital into bankable projects in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for extending the reach of the “Road to Makkah” programme, which would make it easier for Pakistani pilgrims to do the Hajj. The Saudi Ambassador informed the Prime Minister of the full support of the Saudi leadership while also extending an invitation for the Prime Minister to visit Saudi Arabia. He declared that Saudi Arabia would always be a trustworthy ally in the development of a more powerful and affluent Pakistan.
