PAKISTAN NAVY CLINCHES CHAMPIONS TITLE OF 7TH CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF OPEN SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf was the Chief Guest on occasion.

Pakistan Navy clinched the title of CNS Open Shooting Championship 2023 with 35 Gold, 17 Silver and 13 Bronze medals whereas Sindh team secured the Runners up position. Almost 400 shooters from all over Pakistan participated in the week long Championship.

During the championship, a total of 27 events including 11 men, 5 women and 4 in youth categories were contested. In order to promote the game of shooting among youth and for interest of local sports shooting lovers, 7 events of Big Bore Pistol & Big Bore Rifle categories were also held which were non-scoring towards overall points of the championship.

All matches were contested under the umbrella of National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) as per International Sports Shooting Federation latest rules and regulations.
