212 items were banned from being taken to Afghanistan through transit trade

Ministry of Commerce has issued an SRO to ban goods through transit trade. Items will not be allowed to be transported to Afghanistan under the Afghan Transit Trade Agreement.

17 types of cloth, tires of all types of vehicles will be banned. Tea leaf is also included in the prohibited items.

Dozens of items used in cosmetics and toilet are also banned. Nuts, dry and fresh fruits will also be banned in Afghanistan. Home appliances, fridge, refrigerator, air conditioner, juicer, mixer blender are also banned. The ban will not apply to goods lying at ports and goods arriving through international aid.
