IA Spokesperson Statement on Repeated Allegations by Pakistani Officials

IA Spokesperson Statement on Repeated Allegations by Pakistani Officials

After the recent security incident in Pakistan, officials have once again blamed Afghans instead of strengthening the security of their country. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly rejects these allegations and insists that Afghanistan is a country that has come out of a long-lasting war and it does not want to threaten the security of any country, specially neighboring countries. IEA once again reiterates its principled position, that the territory of Afghanistan will not be used against the security of any country, however, it does not mean that Afghanistan is responsible for the security failure of any country in the region. Unfortunately, over the past 20 years, our region was a victim of foreign invasion led by America and the wrong policies of some countries in the region, the effects of which are still being felt. Pakistan should manage its security situation carefully and find a solution for it in their territory.
During the year 1444, 18 Pakistani members of Dash, who were carrying out explosions and attacks in our territory, were killed and dozens of them were captured alive in different areas of Afghanistan, all the documents and evidence are with us. It should be noted that, instead of blaming Pakistan, the government of Afghanistan has strengthened its security measures. It is worth mentioning that if someone attacks in Pakistan or if Muslims are being killed by Dash in Afghanistan and Pakistan, a common solution should be found, blaming is not the solution. There is a big conspiracy to attack clerics and seminaries/madrassas in Afghanistan and the region, our intelligence agencies have received concrete information about this in advance and have carried out effective operations to prevent such actions in Afghanistan, in addition, they have already shared the information with regional countries, unfortunately, some countries have not taken immediate actions. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan once again emphasize that it is not in favor of any attack on Pakistan and we will not allow anyone to use the soil of Afghanistan against Pakistan, however, it is not our responsibility to prevent and control attacks inside the territory of Pakistan; rather, it is the responsibility of the security and intelligence agencies of Pakistan which spend a huge amount of their country’s budget, to carry out their duties properly and not to blame Afghanistan by changing the mindset of the people and the international community.
In the past two years, since the establishment of Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, the security situation of the country and the region has improved significantly. The fact the security incidents have increased only in Pakistan; it is the responsibility of the country to find a solution on its own.
Zabihullah Mujabid, IEA’s Spokesperson.
