Good news for domestic aviation and travelers from Pakistan to China (Urumqi)
China Southern Airlines resumes flights from Lahore to Urumqi. On this occasion, a ceremony was held at Lahore Airport. Consul General of the People’s Republic of China Zhao Shirin participated in the event. COO/Airport Manager Nazir Ahmed Khan, CSO and Airline/GHA representatives also attended.
Chinese Consul General Zhao Shirin thanked the airport management and other agencies for their cooperation in resuming flight operations. The Chinese Consul General also highlighted the importance of the Lahore-Uramchi route for the airline and passengers.
China Southern Airlines suspended its operations in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. China Southern flight CZ-6017 arrived at Lahore at 7:52 am and flight CZ-6018 departed for Urumchi at 10:02 am.
