Pakistan Navy ship PNS Nasr has reached the Syrian port of Latakia carrying relief goods for the earthquake victims. Relief supplies include tents, blankets, generators, rations, medicines and warm clothes for the victims. Upon arrival at the Syrian port, the ship was warmly welcomed by the Pakistani ambassador, high civil and military officials of Syria. PNS Nasr is the first ship of Pakistan Navy to carry 1000 tons of relief supplies.
Another ship of Pakistan Navy, PNS Assistant, was also dispatched on March 12 with relief supplies. PNS Nasr will depart for Turkey after delivery of relief supplies in Syria.
The nation of Pakistan stands with the people of Turkey and Syria in this hour of trouble.
