Pakistani Actors Join Welfare Mission in Jordan to Support Displaced Palestinian Families

AMMAN, 9 October, 2026 (Ghufran): A delegation of prominent Pakistani actors has joined a five-day humanitarian mission in Jordan to support displaced Palestinian women and children from Gaza, helping deliver essential food supplies and offering solidarity to families affected by the conflict. The mission, organised by SKT Welfare, took place from September 29 to October 3 and included Jawed Sheikh, Khaled Anam, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Ally Khan, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Nabeel Zafar. During the visit, the delegation helped prepare and distribute more than 500 boxes of essential, non-perishable food items to Gazan refugee families and visited Palestinian patients receiving medical treatment in Jordan. Sharing photographs and videos on social media, the actors documented their humanitarian work and interactions with families displaced by the conflict. According to Khaled Anam, many of the families receiving assistance included children injured during the conflict or undergoing treatment for serious medical conditions, including cancer and heart disease. As part of the initiative, SKT Welfare also organised an afternoon of games, activities and a hot meal for children receiving cancer treatment, offering them a welcome break from the challenges of illness and displacement. The visit highlighted the continuing humanitarian needs of Palestinian patients and their families forced to seek medical care outside Gaza. SKT Welfare continues to assist people evacuated for treatment in Jordan, while its broader relief efforts also support communities inside Gaza. The actors’ social media posts have drawn attention to the practical assistance provided during the mission and the personal connections established with Palestinian families and children.
