LOS ANGELES, 28 September, 2026 (Ghufran): Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter won the Best Collaboration award, while K-pop superstar Lisa took home the Best Pop Video honour at MTV’s annual Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The duo won the collaboration award for “Bring Your Love,” which they also performed during the ceremony’s opening, receiving a warm response from the audience. Madonna praised Carpenter and described their work together as a wonderful experience. Lisa, a member of Blackpink, won Best Pop Video for her solo track “Dream” and became emotional while thanking her fans, known as Lillies, for their continued support. Taylor Swift also attended the ceremony and was set to receive the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors in recognition of her work directing music videos. Swift, Madonna and Carpenter were also nominated for the ceremony’s top Video of the Year award, with winners in the major categories determined through fan voting. The ceremony was broadcast live on CBS and MTV and streamed on Paramount+.
