MUMBAI, 12 September 2026 (Nosheen): Indian actress Katrina Kaif faced harsh criticism over her dancing skills at the beginning of her career, with choreographer Bosco revealing that she was once called a “zero” at dancing and advised to quit. Bosco and fellow choreographer Cesar recently appeared in an interview with director and choreographer Farah Khan, where they discussed their careers and experiences of working with Katrina. During the conversation, Farah Khan revealed that the popular song “Sheila Ki Jawani” was one of the most economical performances she had choreographed, featuring only 10 boys alongside Katrina Kaif. Bosco said the song proved to be a game changer for Katrina’s career, while Farah described it as a major turning point. However, she noted that at the time they had not known whether Katrina could dance. Recalling the actress’s early struggles, Bosco said Katrina had faced humiliation from a choreographer who told her that she was “zero” when it came to dancing and should quit. Despite the criticism, Katrina went on to establish herself as a prominent actress and performer in the Indian film industry.
