Climate moot at the UN calls for prioritizing welfare of women and children
15 March 2024, New York: Distinguished speakers at a panel discussion on the topic of “From Rhetoric to Reality in Building Climate Resilience: Adaptation, Loss and Damage” urged the international community to demonstrate a stronger political will to deal with the threats posed by climate change. They agreed that urgent steps needed to be taken to work out modalities for the mobilization of resources to cater to the growing financial needs for the success of the adaptation and resilience strategy.
