Quetta, 26 September, 2026 (Nosheen): Eighteen workers of a road construction company were abducted after armed attackers raided their camp in the Nana Sahib Ziarat area of Duki district, while a security guard was killed and another seriously injured. According to sources, the attackers exchanged fire with security guards during the assault, killing one guard and seriously injuring another before taking 18 construction workers residing at the camp and fleeing the area. Security forces have launched a search operation in the surrounding areas to locate the abducted workers and trace the attackers. Duki is located approximately 315 kilometres northeast of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
